The default feed address looks like this… http://feeds.feedburner.com/terrytaysecrets/zasy. I couldn’t remember if I was the one who set it that way or was it a default setting. Anyway, the 4 letters at the end of the URL doesn’t make any sense at all (at least to me) and so I changed it to http://feeds.feedburner.com/TerryTaySecrets which looks cleaner and it’s also easier to remember.
Why RSS subscriptions?
If you have been blogging long enough, you should have knew it long ago. One of the main reason why RSS readership is important is it shows you an estimated representation of loyal readers you have. Any increase or decrease in readership could either mean that you are doing good or you are not doing the right thing. It gives you an indication if your blog is doing well. Another reason is in some of the advertisements network, they take your RSS readership into consideration when giving you a price - the more RSS readers the more expensive it is to advertise on your blog.
Right now as I’m writing this post, I have only 1 reader, yeah, just 1! You probably could guess the price that the advertisements network will put on my blog. Morale of the story, never ever change your feed address. Choose one suitable name and stick to it for the rest of your blogging life.
Seriously, if you like this post or any part of my blog, please consider subscribing to my RSS feed. - I’m trying to rebuild my readers now and I’m very sorry to those who were previously on my RSS feeds.

Don’t you have a back-up record of ur rss readers? so you can just get them to sign-up again..
interesting, looking forward to more……
Hi ChiQ, I’m using feedburner for my RSS. Is there a function in there to back them up? I didn’t know that, let me know how it works. I definitely love to back it up if there’s a function. I’m still exploring the functions in feedburner.
