Financial Education is A Must!

27 January, 2008

So you want to make more money in life right? Millions of people share the same vision but only 3% are wealthy. Most people think that being rich you got to be evil and cunning to get there. That’s not true. I’m still a student when it comes to learning about money and will always be. The world is ever changing in life and we have to constantly education ourselves about money.

I began to be interested in making money about a year ago when I happened to chances upon a site that allows you to make money when you open one of their emails. Well, I did make some money… but it’s only $5.30. I became really interested and searched for more money making opportunities. There’s many way you can make money, you can gamble, buy a lottery, join some illegal scheme (and hopefully they pay you) or marry to someone that’s already rich.

Wrong!

We as human beings always look for the easiest and simplest way out to get rich quick and most of the time we get burn. You see, money is not something we are actually going for. It’s only an idea. What we are actually going for are what money can bring us. For example, money can certainly buy you nice fancy houses and cars, bring you family for a nice vacation or donate to your favorite charitable organization. That’s the power of knowing how to make money.

However many just see it as a burden to learn. As a result their burden to learn turns into a life burden of not enough money. There is no end point in financial education, it’s a learning process. It’s not as complicated as you think. I may not be very rich yet to say all these but that’s not the point. We all have to start rich from within. Winning from within mentally is the very first step to learn how to handle money and not to run away from them.

This is my very first post about money and I will continue to spread the words about financial education just like how Robert Kiyosaki from RichDad do. Every young kid deserves to know this because what they have been taught in school could be an imprisonment of wealth for life.
